Week 2 Days 8-11

Week 2 has not gone nearly as well as week 1. I have not had much time to exercise this week however, I have mowed the entire property walked Canton all day Fri and walked Fort Worth all day Sat. I have done my best to maintain the diet and have found myself just not eating as opposed to breaking the diet plan. Multiple nights of working late this week have not helped the situation either. Friday in Canton I went totally off the wagon however, I paid for it by my body revolting most of the night and dealing with a major headached! Saturday in Fort Worth was lunch at Joe T. Garcias, I didn't do as bad as I could have but I still fell off the wagon a little more. Tomorrow is a new day and I am back at it hard and heavy!

Day 7

When I started my diet one week ago I weighed 164 lbs, today I weigh 157 lbs. I think 7 lbs in one week is pretty good and I am proud of myself! Busy week and weekend ahead of me lets see if I can keep it up!

Days 4, 5, & 6

Days 4-6 made up my first weekend on my new diet plan and workout. I would say for the most part things went well this weekend. As for the diet, I am still having a hard time eating all the required meals. It is just alot of food!! I will admit that I fell off the wagon Sat. night when I decided to go to the movies and I broke down and ate a hotdog! I did however pay for it for the next 12 hours with an upset stomach and uncontroleable belching. I did Yoga on Sunday, which is one increadibly hard workout to do. Then entire disk is an hour and a half long and after two times I almost made it through the first 30 minutes! All in all, I would have to call the first weekend on the new diet a success!

Day 3

Today was Day 3 of the 90 day plan. I was supposed to work out with Bee this morning but a last minute change in my schedule prevented that so I did a Yoga workout this evening. Breakfast this morning was a shake, which I really do like! The shakes are milk, raspberries, blueberries, banana and protein powder. Lunch was supposed to be the remaining tuna fish from the day before but I just couldn't down it so I had another shake and protein bar. Dinner was beef and brocolli with Miso soup and was actually very good! Day 3 down! Holding strong! Another little side note on what I did today was a colonic, all I am going to say about that was hummm no comment!

Day 2

Well today was harder than I had thought it would be based on how well yesterday went. My meals today should have cheesy eggs, grapefruit and milk, tuna salad, cucumber soup and pork tenderloin with various sides. However, I was just not hungry today at all! I did eat some of the eggs and the grapefruit as well as my midmorning protein bar. As for lunch I didn't eat anything and I ate some pistachios for a snack and decided on vegetable soup for dinner. The lack of eating would most likely be the reason that I was so tired today and actually fell asleep at my desk for over an hour(thanks everyone for letting me be). Anyhow, workout tonight was plyometrics which is a super fancy word for lots of jumping around. Doing things like pretending to jump through tires and chair assisted squats and what not. Anyhow, tomorrow is another day and I will make another attempt to eat more and will be working out with Bee tomorrow at the gym. More to come!

Day 1

Well, I took the begginers pictures and thought about posting them but Blake convencied me not to do it. So the compromise is that I will post the beginning pics after taking the 30 day pics so that they can be compared instead of giving someone 30 days to stare at the horridness of the pics. Anyhow, today was day one and it was OK. I started my morning with a workout at the gym with Bee, where she whooped my butt or more whooped my legs! For breakfast I had my Protein Shake which was fine I just wish they made blue berries and raspberries without seeds! Lunch was a good meal (Chef's salad) but wow it was a lot of food. I had a hard time eating it all and didn't but ate as much as I could. I am not a big fan the protein bar but the key is to drink alot of water with it otherwise you become like a dog with a mouth full of peanut butter. After work I came home and did my first P90X workout. I think it is going to take me a few days to get the rhythem of it down and understand what all the moves are and how to do them with the tools that I have. Today was Chest and Back and Ab Ripper. There are actually two round of the Check and Back portion but I only did once round since I worked out this morning. Lots of push up which I need to do some major work on but I will get there! I did make it almost all the way through the Ab Ripper. There are a few moves that I am not sure my body can do but I will keep working on it. Dinner tonight was Salmon with lemon dill sauce(very very strong lemon dill suace), asparagus which I overcooked, wild rice which was OK and red pepper soup which was good until I had to add the protein powder too it and he became yucky! I tried to eat as much as I could but i didn't end up actually eating all of any of it except the fish. This plan requires a lot of eating and I don't really eat that much food. I will have to continue to make changes to the diet to make it work for me and not be wasteful of food. Checking back in tomorrow!

Here I go again!

OK, so it is Monday March 22, 2010 and beginning tomorrow I start my new P90X workout and diet. Today, I went and bought my groceries for the next week or so holy hell it was not cheap but I should save on eating out and other things too. For the past year I have been working with my trainer and enjoy it so much but I am just not getting past the plateau that I seem to have hit. No change in weight except for up however BMI has gone down. None the less, I am not happy with where I am at and have decided to give this a try! I will post pictures of my progress and my meal journal. Check back soon and no judgement!
